We offer Freestyle classes which incorporates styles such as Commerical, Hip Hop, Vogue, Whacking, Musical Theatre and Jazz. Routines are choreographed by our own teachers according to what the children enjoy and to suit their ability. Medal test exams are offered with the IDTA which comprises of 1-4 short routines which they dance together in groups. Children receive a report form with a score out of 100, a certificate and award. These exams are relatively short and are a good way for children to feel a sense of achievement without the intensity of a graded exam.

Our Contemporary classes are purely non syllabus. Although we can offer graded exams, we choose to keep these classes creative so all children are able to explore their own choreographic voice, learn the skills of working together with their peers and have ownership of their work. These skills we believe are important to all of our dancers, however if an older beginner is looking for a class without the pressure of exams then this class would be for you.
